Writing – it’s something that I’ve always enjoyed. I’ve been keeping journals since I was a young girl. I don’t know what resting place all of these journals have found over the years…but I hope to find them.
The writing process helps me to process my thoughts and emotions, and to come away with something that wasn’t there before. It calms and soothes me. It focuses and centers me. It’s a part of who I am.
As long as I can remember I’ve aspired to be an author. Just the thought of having something I’ve written being published in a physical book gives me chills. But I’ve never attempted to write a book (mainly out of fear and feelings of inadequacy). Well, I’ve had enough of these negative emotions. I want to give it a go.
